A Site License or a Subscription are intended for organizations (depending on whether the intended use of the program is limited to on-site or not).
Registration of a personal copy of WinEdt for educational purposes carries a fee of US $40. Students are eligible for a reduced rate. WinEdt's current policy entitles registered users to free or competitive upgrades to new releases. The current fees and upgrade policies are subject to change without notice.

Once the trial period has elapsed, WinEdt will begin issuing warning messages reminding you that the registration is overdue. Such warnings will not cause any damage to your documents; however, they will likely prove rather annoying and distracting. If you are using WinEdt for serious work you are advised to obtain a license prior to the end of your trial period to avoid unwanted distractions.
